Joe Donaldson, of Tri Lakes Guitar Studio has owed us $650 since Jan 2010. We paid for 6 months of guitar lessons up front, and he promised a contract would be in the mail within 48 hrs (it never came). Our daughter broke her arm on Martin Luther King Day, and Joe promised to refund our money. We were moving out-of-state, so she could not just postpone lessons. He promised, in writing, TWICE to repay, but we have not seen a dime. We regret believing his many lies, because now that we are so far away he knows how difficult small claims court would be. We filed with Better Business Bureau, and discovered a similar complaint from another family already on file. Joe is now no longer a BBB member. During “instruction””
