Report Filed: Village at Lindsay Park Beware – They Charge Random and Excessive fees on Move Out. Mesa Arizona!!
I move in liking the big space. Shortly after living there a few weeks we began smelling marijuana coming through the vents. We called maintenance and they told us to call the cops. We called the cops and filed complaints. Then then offered to move us to another apartment. We where happy to get away from that old place. They moved us to another apartment to finish our lease. We finished our lease and moved out. They charged us a $250 paint fee. They said if you live in a apartment for less than 12 months you have to pay the paint fee. They also charged for carpet replacement fee of $1100. I left the place cleaner than the old place and I found out they used my deposit towards the paint fees in the first apartment and want to charge me a paint fee again for the 2nd. I am so disheartened with this experience. I just hope I save someone else some headache and my pain.
